In the Old Testament we see so many people going through places that could be the shadow of death for example. We have Daniel he went into a lion's den. But did he give up at all on God? He never did he had God so much in his heart he went into the lion's den, but the good part is he never died God saved him!

So, this verse tells us that whatever we go through and any trial we go through we know nothing will separate us from the one loving true God. He went on the cross for us so we could have a relationship with him Amen!

You know in the New Testament we saw a lot of people getting persecuted but one of them is Paul he was a man that killed Christians, but God saved him, and he preached all around the world but in the end, Paul was persecuted in the end, but he still knew he had faith in the one and only true God.
